Our original home in Verbier

For 18 seasons we've been the childcare team that Verbier families come back to. Small, family-run, entirely local, and if you've been coming here a while, chances are we've met.

AboutVerbier

Why Verbier just works for families.

The thing about Verbier, it’s a proper mountain village, not just a ski resort. You can walk across it in twenty minutes. There’s a bakery on every second corner. The village square fills up with kids running around after dinner, and nobody minds. That kind of pace matters when you’re travelling with children.

Most of the ski schools are within walking distance of the main chalet areas. The Médran lift is right in the middle of the village, so morning drop-offs don’t involve a car which is nice! There’s plenty for when the weather turns, the pool at Verbier Sport+, the Tag Aventure indoor adventure park, the cinema on days when you’ve given up entirely. And there’s genuinely enough for older kids and teenagers to do without you having to plan every minute.

Winter’s the headline, of course. The ski schools here are excellent – English-speaking instructors, small group sizes, and a real understanding of how to teach small children in a way they all just love. But summer is a bit of a secret. Wildflower meadows, mountain lakes warm enough to swim in, trotinette trails, high hikes with picnic stops. It’s quieter, slower, and honestly some of our favourite bookings of the year.

Whether it’s your first time here or your fifteenth, we can help you plan the practical side around whatever you’ve got in mind.

Our base

Where you’ll find us.

Our office is at Route des Creux 14,  a two-minute walk from Place Central. That’s where we run the After-Ski Kids Club, where you can pick up rental equipment, and where you’re always welcome to pop in for a chat and a hot chocolate during office hours.

Sarina, our owner, moved to Verbier in 2008 and never left. She raised her three children here. She’s watched nannies join our team as students and grow into senior members of it. She knows which chalets have tricky staircases for pushchairs (there are a few), which restaurants actually welcome babies, and which mountain restaurants make cheese fondue that even the fussiest of little eaters will enjoy.

All of that quiet local knowledge sits behind every booking. When we match you with a nanny, we’re not just finding someone who’s available, we’re finding someone who knows the walk from your chalet to Médran, has picked kids up from Ski Rossignol enough times to do it in her sleep, and knows to pack an extra layer because the wind on the Attelas can turn.

Practical bits

Winter:

The winter season runs mid-November to mid-April. Peak weeks are Christmas, February half-term (British and international), and Easter. For Ski Nannies, book at least two months ahead if you’re coming for those weeks – they go fast. The After-Ski Kids Club runs Monday to Friday during every holiday week.

Summer:

Summer’s from June to early September. It’s quieter, greener, and genuinely lovely. All our nanny services are available, and we’re often asked to organise mountain hikes, swimming, and outdoor adventures, especially for the older kids who want to be busy without their parents planning it.
